LEGACY- The Landscape Connection (LEGACY) provides direct support to families in Gaza that we know.
We invite you to join in this opportunity to support families in Gaza by becoming a sponsor.
We have an open process for selecting the families we sponsor:
- Families in Gaza become known to LEGACY’s Sponsors in many ways, including social media, referrals from friends, referrals from families we already sponsor, from donors, and by word of mouth.
- Each family or its intermediary representative has a LEGACY Sponsor who is a well-known, trusted member of our Volunteer Team. These Sponsors build authentic connections with families in Gaza and develop budgets and fundraising plans to meet their needs.
- Read our family’s stories to learn more about their lives, and to learn how you can become a sponsor and/or join in a support system already established for each family.
LEGACY follows all nonprofit 501(c)(3) rules. Donations are fully deductible to the extent allowed by law. We carefully track all funds with professional bookkeeping. Our sponsors provide LEGACY’s Treasurer with regular reports per nonprofit requirements.
We are raising funds for families in Gaza, to meet their needs now and in the near future, and with the view of moving beyond mere survival to also thriving in peace.
Your donations sent by mail, through the website, from fundraising events, crowdsource, and personal assistance are supplemented with philanthropic grant funding for LEGACY’s support for families in Gaza. We are a small nonprofit that must operate within our capacity to succeed in our goals. We accommodate only the number of families where we can productively deliver financial support and physical goods to the families we seek to serve.
